Students Orientation Programme

12th December 2018: On 12th December 2018, an orientation programme was held in  Salesian College Sonada for the first year students. The programme started from 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the campus. Not all the Students but maximum had attended the orientationthat was initiated by the principal Fr. (Prof.) George Thadathil and the Campus Minister Fr. Pritam Barla.

Firstly, an introductory speech was given by Fr. Principal on the reason for the organization of the programme. Then the students were led for self evaluation and analysation of experiences. Then for another task students formed five groups each with eight members. The groups were to share their views and suggestions for the better functioning of the college. Some of those were as follows:

  • Proper Utilization of Remedial classes
  • Proper Bus facilities
  • Mutual relationship among the students
  • Demand for holidays, etc.

All these ideas were jotted down on chart papers and were presented to everyone. The programme concluded with a speech again delivered by Fr. Principal and Campus Minister.

As a whole the orientation programme was a success.
