A group of 20 students belonging to BA Mass Communications and Photography Club at Salesian College Sonada hosted a week-long photography competition cum exhibition.
College Vice-Rector Dr Tomy Augustine inaugurated the exhibition on Thursday 7th August and encouraged students for their effort in putting up photography exhibition at short notice.
The two categories for the exhibition cum competition included photos taken by smart phones and DSLR Cameras under the leadership of faculty members in-charge of Photography Club Mr Privat Giri and Salesian Television Mr. Bruno Thapa.

“The first day was a massive success and the response the organising committee got from the students was something which make us to do more exhibitions,” said one of the organisers Martin Rai.
Another Organising Committee member Puravi Gurung states, “The event which we organized was an opportunity given by the Photography Club of the Salesian college which helps me to cope up with the people having different ideas and thoughts which also help me in building a good bond and sharing new ideas. It gives some more enthusiasm to do more in future and it’s all because of the opportunity provided to me by this college.”
The exhibition will last till 14th August 2019.
