Darjeeling — Consultant of the Department of Foreign Relations and PR at the Faculty of Education of Catholic University in Ruzomberok, Slovak Republic visited Salesian College Sonada to study possibilities of collaboration in student and faculty mobility.
Dr. Peter Nemec addressed a small group of faculty members in spite of invigilation duties for North Bengal University and IGNOU.
In a one hour presentation about the university and the Faculty of Education, Dr. Nemec invited faculty to come up with research proposals as well as prepare seminar topics for international events hosted in Catholic University of Slovakia.
Catholic University in Ružomberok (CU) established in 2000 is a public university under the Conference of Slovak Bishops and National Council of the Slovak Republic.
CU performs its activities especially in the areas of the humanities, historical, pedagogical, and social and health sciences, as well as in the areas of art, economics, management, and law.
Catholic University has been the associate since 2004 and in 2010 it became the member of International Federation of Catholic Universities.
University has also been the member of Fédération des Universités Catholiques Européennes (FUCE) since 2007.
